Sea Encounters, Maintaining Ships and Ship Battles
"Sea Encounters" are fights and adventures that can happen on the sea. Basically, Sea Encounters happen when your ship comes in contact with sea monsters, items, or other ships. Crews can choose to attack, plunder, do whatever they want! Sea Encounters happen randomly, and are usually written out like adventures, admins controlling the enemy ships. You can attack other Player Character ships (if they're in the same "Island Classification" as you are, or the same Blue).
Battling on the Sea
Basically, battling on sea is far different than battling on land. Each member, except the navigator, counts as an action slot. Basically, they can focus on trying to attack other enemies with cannons, or they can focus on trying to board the other ship to attack the other crew more directly, which would end up in a regular battle. Of course, there are certain special attacks that ships can do with the right machinery that can act more effectively.
During a battle, the admin or mod controlling the enemy ships will say how much damage each ship took during the turn, counting all the damage as percentages.
When a battle between two player-controlled crews breaks out, an admin or mod not involved in the battle will decide the amount of damage each ship takes.
Once the battle ends, and the damage is taken, a ship can be repaired by anyone, but professional work, in other words, Shipwrights will make sure more damage is removed, and more damage won't be taken.
